Calling all parents of girls age 13-17!!

Do you want your daughter to become more self-confident, speak with conviction and do something other than stare at that damn iPhone that you should’ve never given her in the first place?

Send her to The Schoolhouse of Rock’s first ever All Girls’ Camp!

This overnight camp will challenge your daughter to break out of her comfort zone, make new friends, and discover confidence within herself.

Did you know 1 in 3 young women aged 13-17 suffer from feelings of anxiety, negative self-image, and lack of confidence?

Art and Music are proven therapeutic devices.

Music has been clinically proven to relieve stress, apprehension, fear, and improve mood. It can also lower heart rate, blood pressure, breathing rate, and relieve depression.

In this overnight camp, we will explore the history of women in music, what it means to be a girl in today’s society, and help our girls find comfort and a sense of belonging through art and music.

Our girls will also practice social skills they can use for years to come– carrying themselves with confidence, giving a strong handshake, having good posture and speaking with conviction.

The Details

 Tuition is $240.

We will provide pizza and salad for dinner Friday night, and Laverna’s (the woman owned cafe next door) will be providing breakfast Saturday morning. Parents/Guardians are welcome to join us for the end of breakfast on Saturday at 11:30 am. A host of female speakers will be speaking to the girls throughout the day and night about how they found confidence in their lives through art and music.

For camp, girls will need to bring: sleeping bag, pillow, blanket, change of clothes/pajamas, and necessary toiletries for an overnight stay.

We will provide drawing, games, snacks, movies, and an arsenal of musical instruments.

Phones will be confiscated upon arrival and put into “Phone Prison” and will be returned upon pick-up on Saturday. The Schoolhouse of Rock will have a phone and text line available to girls and their families in case of emergency. Other than that, there will be no tweeting, texting, ‘gramming, or YouTubing for the full 24hours.
